EHS Trainer and Program Lead

Overview

The role involves steering the development and execution of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) training programs across the organization. The goal is to enhance safety awareness and compliance in alignment with the company's Zero Harm mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive EHS training solutions for varied projects and departments.
• Identify training needs through assessments, ensuring relevant and effective learning interventions.
• Manage the timely rollout of mandatory regulatory and compliance training sessions.
• Evaluate program success with feedback mechanisms and performance data analysis.
• Ensure training supports strategic safety and business goals with innovative delivery methods like digital tools and simulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with EHS managers, project leads, HR, and external experts to maintain program relevance and quality.
• Communicate results and improvement recommendations to senior leadership regularly.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of EHS trainers, encouraging knowledge exchange and continuous improvement.
• Maintain full compliance of training content with all applicable legal standards and incorporate insights from incident reviews and audits.
• Develop emergency preparedness training and promote company-wide engagement.
• Keep training materials updated with changes in laws and industry best practices.

This position entails onsite work based in Greater Chennai Area. The role demands strong coordination with regulatory agencies, external consultants, and internal stakeholders to uphold and enhance the organization’s safety culture.
