Job description
Role Overview
The DGPS Operator will be in charge of operating DGPS/GNSS devices to conduct various types of field surveys, including RTK, Static, and Topographical surveys. This role requires precise gathering of spatial data, maintaining survey equipment, and thorough documentation of findings.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage DGPS/GNSS tools for field data collection.
- Perform RTK, Static and topographical surveys to collect spatial data.
- Accurately record X, Y, and Z coordinates for designated survey points.
- Identify and verify benchmarks and control points critical for survey accuracy.
- Conduct land, road, utility, boundary, and infrastructure related surveys.
- Set up DGPS Base and Rover stations, ensuring robust satellite connections.
- Document and maintain precise survey data, field notes, and measurements.
- Transfer and download DGPS data for further CAD and GIS analysis.
- Audit the accuracy and completeness of the survey data collected.
- Generate daily progress and field survey reports for project tracking.
- Collaborate with surveyors, GIS engineers, and project management teams for smooth workflow.
- Properly maintain DGPS equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.
- Travel willingness across various project sites including locations in India and Haryana.
