About the Role
We seek a seasoned DevOps Engineer with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, automating, and managing scalable infrastructure environments. This role demands expertise in continuous integration and delivery pipelines, cloud services, automation, and system monitoring.
Primary Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Automate build, release management, and deployment workflows.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure operations across platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Continuously monitor system performance to guarantee high availability.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code practices using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment cycles.
- Identify and resolve production issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Implement and uphold best security practices throughout the infrastructure stack.
- Administer containerization and orchestration solutions utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Between 5 and 10 years of practical DevOps experience, particularly with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Proven expertise managing scalable cloud infrastructures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- In-depth knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices frameworks.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Shell, Bash, and Python with strong Linux/Unix system understanding.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging technologies like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Strong command of Git and version control methodologies.
- Understanding of security standards and DevSecOps approaches.
- Professional certifications in AWS or Azure are advantageous.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and communication skills.
Educational Qualification
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is essential.
