About the internship
Role Overview
This internship offers an opportunity to create and enhance video content primarily for YouTube. The intern will work remotely and be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging videos through editing, effects, and optimization techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos as well as short formats like Shorts and Reels from original footage.
- Incorporate dynamic transitions, sound effects, background music, motion graphics, and add subtitles or captions to improve viewer engagement.
- Create compelling and high click-through rate YouTube thumbnails to attract audience attention.
- Support video optimization including crafting effective titles, tags, descriptions, and adding timestamps or chapters.
- Organize and maintain project assets and manage final export processes to ensure quality delivery.
Candidate Eligibility
- Applicants must be able to work remotely.
- Availability to work during the hours 7:30 PM to 2:30 AM Indian Standard Time, aligning with the company’s local schedule (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time).
- Must be available to start between August 21, 2026, and September 25, 2026.
- Commitment to the full 6-month internship duration is required.
- Should possess relevant skills and a strong interest in video editing and production.

Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from INR 20,000 to INR 25,000.

Required Skills and Experience
- Prior video editing experience with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating storytelling abilities and pacing skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Photoshop or Canva for designing thumbnails.
