About the internship

This in-office internship is based in Mumbai and runs for 6 months. The selected intern will support data-related work with a focus on collating information, analyzing it in Excel and Power BI, and building dashboards.

Responsibilities

Gather and organize data from relevant sources for analysis.
Work on spreadsheet-based analysis using Excel and Power BI.
Build and maintain dashboards to present insights clearly.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-person internship.
They should be able to begin between 11 June 2026 and 16 July 2026.
A commitment of 6 months is required.
Only candidates from Mumbai are eligible.
Relevant skills and interest in the work are expected.

Stipend

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 10,000.

Perks

Interns will receive a certificate, a letter of recommendation, an informal dress code, and a 5-day workweek.

Skills required

The role calls for familiarity with Python, data analytics, MS Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.

About the company

The company began as Lakme Limited on 5 December 1952, originally operating in cosmetics, toiletries, and perfumery. In 1998, it shifted away from cosmetics and moved into apparel retail, planning a nationwide department-store presence. As part of this transition, it acquired Littlewoods International (India) Private Limited in March 1998. Around the same time, Lakme Exports Limited was merged with LIIPL, and the combined entity was renamed Trent Limited. Later, on 1 July 1998, Trent Limited was merged with Lakme, and Lakme Limited was renamed Trent Limited.
