Cybersecurity Internship (Remote, Part-Time)

Internship Overview

This internship offers an opportunity to support the monitoring and protection of systems and networks from security threats. You will gain hands-on experience in conducting vulnerability assessments, assisting with incident response, and learning critical cybersecurity practices such as network security, endpoint protection, and access management. Under guidance, you will analyze logs, identify security risks, and contribute to improving organizational security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems, networks, and alerts to detect security threats.
• Carry out basic vulnerability scans and security evaluations.
• Help document and identify security weaknesses and risks.
• Assist in implementing security policies and controls.
• Investigate suspicious activities using log analysis under supervision.
• Support incident response actions and security investigations.
• Apply principles of network and endpoint security plus access management.
• Contribute to security testing and create awareness initiatives.
• Maintain records of security incidents and procedures.
• Participate in cybersecurity projects that enhance overall security posture.

Candidate Eligibility

• Must be available to work remotely and able to start between August 28, 2026, and October 2, 2026.
• Commitment to a 2-month internship duration.
• Possess relevant technical skills and an interest in cybersecurity.
• Women seeking to start or return to their careers are encouraged to apply.
• Open to Computer Science Engineering students and freshers preparing for their careers.
• Engineering and management department students are eligible.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly stipend ranges from INR 8,000 to 20,000, comprising a fixed pay of INR 6,000 to 12,000 plus incentives from INR 2,000 to 8,000.
• Certification and letter of recommendation upon completion.
• Opportunity for job offer, with potential annual salary between INR 250,000 and 450,000 upon conversion.
• Flexible working hours with a 5-day workweek.
