About the Internship
Senso Vision System offers an opportunity for an Application Engineer intern to contribute actively to the design and deployment of machine vision systems in manufacturing. Interns will engage in evaluating customer needs and engineering turnkey vision solutions incorporating optics, lighting, and robotics integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and develop complete machine vision solutions tailored for manufacturing.
- Choose appropriate lighting and optical components to form the imaging interface.
- Collect and process data samples provided by customers.
- Draft feasibility reports on proposed solutions.
- Integrate machine vision systems with robotic and automated equipment, performing adjustments, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Visit factory sites to install and maintain vision systems, ensuring readiness for production as scheduled.
- Oversee team members at machine builder and contract manufacturer production sites.
- Develop standard operating procedures for machine vision setups; train and support teams during installation and upkeep.
- Investigate on-site problems and generate failure analysis reports.
- Maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
- Report daily progress status and participate in update meetings.
