Fast and Accurate Facial Emotion Recognition via YOLOv8 and Tiny-VIT

Developed a facial emotion recognition system using YOLOv8 for face detection and Tiny-ViT for emotion classification. Trained and evaluated the model on FER2013 with seven emotion classes, achieving 91.26% classification accuracy. Applied image augmentation, model optimization, and GPU-based training using PyTorch on Google Colab/Kaggle.
