Design and Analysis of a 3D-Printed Planetary Gearbox for an RC Electric Vehicle

SolidWorks, ANSYS

Developed a lightweight planetary gearbox for an RC electric rover using additive manufacturing. Designed the gearbox in SolidWorks, evaluated PLA and ABS through ANSYS FEA, and optimized the design for improved torque transmission, reduced weight, and enhanced load-carrying capability.
