Implemented JWT/bcrypt authentication with protected, user-scoped REST APIs for sources and activity data. Built text extraction pipelines for PDF, DOCX, TXT, and image files using pdf-parse, mammoth, and Tesseract.js OCR. Integrated Gemini AI for source-grounded Q&A, quiz/assessment generation, and AI evaluation with scores and feedback. Deployed frontend on Vercel and backend on Render with MongoDB Atlas.
