    Completed industrial training focused on the operation and working of a 132 kV / 33 kV / 11 kV electrical substation. Studied power transmission and distribution systems from transmission lines to distribution feeders. Gained practical exposure to power transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, isolators, busbars, CTs, PTs, and protection systems. Observed routine operation, preventive maintenance, equipment inspection, and electrical safety practices followed in substations. Learned relay protection, fault isolation, and substation operation under the guidance of engineers.

    Designed and developed an IoT-based system for detecting and locating faults in transmission lines. Simulated transmission line fault dynamics and circuit behavior using Proteus and MATLAB/Simulink prior to hardware prototyping. Integrated voltage and current sensors with Arduino UNO for continuous monitoring of electrical parameters. Implemented fault detection logic for LG, LL, LLG, Open Circuit, and Three-Phase faults. Estimated approximate fault location and displayed real-time diagnostics on an LCD module. Integrated ESP32 for wireless communication to enable remote monitoring and real-time fault alerts.
