I have over 10 years of experience in data analysis, business performance reporting, and insurance analytics. Since April 2016, I have worked in analytical roles within the insurance industry, with formal job titles including Business Analyst, Sales Analyst, and Channel Analyst. My responsibilities have included analyzing large datasets covering premium/GWP, policy volumes, pricing, claims, loss ratios, renewals, sales performance, and portfolio profitability. I develop management reports and dashboards, identify trends and underperforming segments, investigate the drivers behind performance changes, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management. I regularly use advanced Excel, Power Query, and Power BI for data cleaning, reconciliation, analysis, visualization, KPI reporting, and automation. My current role also involves supporting business strategy through portfolio analysis, management commentary, performance tracking, and identifying opportunities for pricing, underwriting, and operational improvements. Prior to moving fully into analytics, I also gained experience in insurance advisory and underwriting roles, which gives me strong domain knowledge and enables me to translate data findings into practical commercial and business recommendations.
