Developed a hybrid ML and cost-based index recommendation system using XGBoost for federated databases. Analyzed SQL workloads, network latency, and communication costs to recommend indexes and evaluated the approach on the IMDb benchmark dataset.
VaultDB – Distributed Fault-Tolerant Key-Value Store

Built a fault-tolerant distributed key-value store using an LSM-tree storage engine and Dynamo-style consistent hashing. Designed a custom TCP protocol and multithreaded server with virtual-node consistent hashing for scaling.
