  Engineered a real-time multi-class object detection and tracking system, achieving 90% mAP50 and 80.5% mAP50-95. Developed a computer vision pipeline for real-time object detection, localization, visualization, and multi-object tracking with 87.9% precision and 95% recall. Fine-tuned confidence and IoU thresholds to improve detection accuracy and tracking stability.

• Vehicle counting and Tracking

  Developed a real-time vehicle counting and tracking system capable of tracking 6+ vehicles simultaneously. Reduced false positive detections by 20% through ROI-based filtering and confidence threshold optimization.

• AI-based traffic management system

  Trained a custom YOLOv8 model on 1000+ annotated traffic images spanning 8 vehicle classes, including ambulances and fire trucks, for emergency vehicle detection and green corridor creation. Implemented lane-wise density estimation supporting dynamic optimization across 4 traffic lanes simultaneously. Designed a real-time processing pipeline for detection, calculation, and signal control.
