    Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, MySQL, REST APIs

    Developed REST APIs for managing movies, theaters, shows, seats, and bookings using Controller-Service-Repository layered architecture. Implemented JPA/Hibernate entity relationships using @ManyToOne and @ElementCollection, along with automatic seat generation based on theater capacity. Implemented transactional booking using @Transactional with seat availability checks to avoid double booking and calculated the booking amount dynamically. Implemented custom exception handling using ResourceNotFoundException, BadRequestException, and SeatAlreadyBookedException to provide clear and meaningful API error response.

  • E-Commerce Order Management System
    Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, MySQL, REST APIs

    Developed REST APIs to manage products, orders, and order items using Controller-Service-Repository layered architecture. Designed and implemented JPA/Hibernate entity relationships between Order, OrderItem, and Product using @OneToMany and @ManyToOne mappings with cascading. Implemented DTO-based request validation using @NotNull, @Min, and @Valid annotations to ensure proper data validation before saving records. Used Lombok to reduce boilerplate code and managed database schema changes using Hibernate during development.
