Phylogenetic Analysis and Web-Based Visualization of Heavy Metal Associated (HMA) Genes in Oryza sativa

NCBI GenBank, Clustal Omega, MEGA 12, BLAST, pBLAST, SWISS-MODEL, PROCHECK, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Retrieved 104 HMA gene sequences from NCBI GenBank and performed multiple sequence alignment using Clustal Omega. Constructed phylogenetic trees using MEGA 12 and Maximum Likelihood, used BLAST/pBLAST, SWISS-MODEL and PROCHECK for sequence similarity, protein modelling and structural validation, and developed a basic web-based visualization.
