Projects

  • STM32-Based 3-Phase BLDC Motor Controller & Electronic Speed Controller (ESC)
STM32, Embedded C, Power Electronics, PWM

Developed a prototype 3-phase sensorless BLDC motor controller featuring a 6-MOSFET inverter bridge driven by an STM32 ARM Cortex-M microcontroller. Configured advanced timers for 6-step trapezoidal PWM with dead-time insertion and validated switching waveforms and commutation performance on a 24 V BLDC motor.

  • Closed-Loop DC-DC Buck-Boost Converter with PWM Regulation
MATLAB Simscape Electrical, MOSFETs, Schottky diodes, PWM

Modeled and built a buck-boost converter prototype for a 9–24 V input range with regulated output. Evaluated transient response and ripple in simulation and achieved about 91.5% efficiency at rated load in hardware testing.

  • AI-Based Smart Helmet for Industrial Noise Cancellation & Worker Safety
    ADAU1701, INMP441, NEO-6M, Raspberry Pi 4B, Python

Designed an intelligent industrial safety helmet integrating audio DSP, microphone array, GPS, and Raspberry Pi controller. Implemented DSP-based noise reduction and Python scripts for parsing GPS telemetry over UART.

  • Custom 2-Layer Power Distribution & Signal Conditioning PCB Design
    KiCad, PCB Design, Power Management

Designed a complete power-management board with 5 V and 3.3 V rails from a 12 V input. Completed schematic capture, 2-layer PCB layout, DRC validation, and Gerber/drill file generation.
