Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data and Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Medical Provider Management (MPM) team at Allianz. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Power BI and SQL to analyze healthcare provider data, develop insightful reports, and drive strategic decisions that enhance provider network efficiency and healthcare outcomes. With 2-4 years of experience, preferably in the health or insurance sectors, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Conduct data validation and ensure data integrity across various sources and systems.
- Support the MPM team in market performance analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
- Utilize data visualization techniques to present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Continuously improve data processes and reporting methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence.
Requirements
To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills/ experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence, preferably within the health or insurance sectors.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query, for creating interactive reports and dashboards.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation.
- Experience with data modeling and database design concepts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the health insurance industry is highly advantageous.
