Diality Inc, a privately held medical device company located in Irvine, CA is committed to improving the quality of life for patients with kidney disease. We are developing a smart, flexible, portable hemodialysis machine that will enable patients to self-treat at home or wherever they travel. The extremely versatile hemodialysis solution will allow more patients to benefit from their true dialysis prescription at home or in a variety of care settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and dialysis centers, without the need for pre-mixed dialysate bags or external water-treatment systems.
The Product Manager reports to the Director, Marketing, and works cross functionally with the entire Diality organization, and is responsible for downstream marketing activities supporting the successful commercialization of the Moda-flx Hemodialysis System. The Product Manager will be the link between internally focused product development teams and externally focused commercial teams as the Moda-flx Hemodialysis System is commercialized in 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management, brand/digital marketing resources, and the commercial team to build the Moda-flx Hemodialysis and Diality brands
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute Diality’s industry tradeshow presence and participation
- Build, implement and optimize a lifecycle marketing strategy that informs product enhancements and future product development of the Diality platform
- Develop a comprehensive product content strategy and collaborate across teams to create sales enablement materials, including documentation, sales collateral, case studies, product videos, website copy, and blog posts.
- Own Diality’s platform for managing promotional materials
- Ensure all content effectively communicates the benefits of the Moda-Flx Hemodialysis System to providers, physicians, and patients.
- Manage Diality’s social media presence, including ownership of metrics, KPIs and dashboards
- Partner with the Marketing Director and Sales team to accelerate sales and device utilization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or related business or scientific field
- 2+ years of marketing, business, sales, or related business experience in the medical device industry
- 2+ years of B2B marketing experience, including experience with growth or product marketing with a strong focus on building brand awareness and generating qualified leads
- Experience in dialysis and/or diabetes management a plus
- Ability to personally deliver high-quality work products, hold stakeholders and vendors accountable, and toggle between high level strategic direction, planning, and the details to execution
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, high growth and at times unstructured work environment
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker with a bias to inbox zero
- You are intellectually curious with strong analytical skills
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative market research
- Experience working with R&D teams to create customer and marketing requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Sustained periods of time standing and sitting in a laboratory
- Sitting at a desk utilizing a computer
- Some lifting of<25 pounds
- Typical office areas with offices, cubicles and conference rooms. Typical laboratory and chemical storage areas which may contain hazardous compounds requiring adherence to safe handling practices.
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed (up to 10%) primarily to visit vendors and attend select conferences. This could include weekend travel for industry tradeshow support.
