The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing a creative and innovative human resources strategy that is aligned with the company’s strategic plan. Acts as advisor to the Chief People Officer and other key organizational leaders, Supports and consults with managers to maximize team engagement, performance, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a human resources strategy in support of the strategic plan for the organization. Acts as advisor to the CPO and other key organizational leaders. Supports and consults with managers to maximize team engagement, performance, and outcomes.
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert to individual team members and leaders across the organization. Supports leadership by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions.
  • Leads a team of HR professionals including HR Business Partners, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Design and implement cost-effective and legally compliant programs, policies, practices, and processes that effectively communicate and support the organization’s strategic vision and programmatic objectives.
  • Simplify, automate and outsource services and processes as appropriate to maximize productivity and efficiency. Manage vendors to ensure the organization receives quality expertise, guidance, data, recommendations, and services at an appropriate cost.
  • Assists in the Development and management of the department and related budgets and other financial measures of Human Resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven human resources work experience with at least 5 years in a director-level capacity
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as with a team. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, limited structured environment. Adept interpersonal skills; strength in developing and maintaining relationships. Must be available for travel up to 10%.
