We are searching for the best talent for Medical Science Liaison to be in Czechia.


The Medical Science Liaison is responsible for building trustworthy partnerships with customers, meet them on regular basis, organize medical education events in cooperation with Medical Manager and implement Medical Strategy of the assigned therapeutic area. The role is to increase understanding and added new value of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (J&J IM) Immunology portfolio, execute prelaunch and launch activities fully in line with medical strategy through value story discussion, proactive cross-functional internal cooperation and high level of engagement with external customers. An important part of the role is to provide internal and external scientific support, train internal staff to ensure highest standards of brand/therapy experts in customer facing teams. Demonstrates transparent and constructive conversations to support the creation of trustworthy and collaborative working environment internally and externally, to show behavior that helps to strengthen J&J position as a company with high reputation and credibility.

You Will Be Responsible For (not Limited To)

  • Build strategic external partnerships with key partners.
  • Meet with customers on a regular basis through F2F visits, educational meetings, conferences etc.
  • Gather Medical/experts´ insights and share them cross-functional.
  • Implement Medical strategy for assigned Immunology portfolio (new products and indications).
  • Increase understanding and made valuable contributions of J&J IM Immunology portfolio to ensure that all the patients who benefit more from J&J IM products than from alternatives, will get them.
  • Provide scientific support to all customers in response to clinical interest.
  • Support the sharing of knowledge to internal collaborators e.g., through provision of trainings to help to ensure the highest standards of brand/therapy experts in customer facing teams.
  • Provide Medical insights around key brands and marketplace themes/trends etc. to CZ MAF team, CVT to help optimize Medical brand/therapy strategy.
  • Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Analyze and understand competitive landscape.
  • Manage and maintain trustworthy partnership with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Deliver scientific and medical content.
  • Act as J&J IM speaker externally in a case of need.
  • Engage in constant dialogue to build value for patients, customers and J&J IM.
  • Gather information to contribute to the Market Access department (HEMAR) to ensure our products are presented in an appropriate way.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience in Medical, Pharmacy or Life Science degree (preferable).
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in MSL/ RnD or a comparable position and expertise in Immunology preferred.
  • Experience in developing and driving needed concepts and events.
  • Project management skills.
  • Critical thinking.
  • Excellent presentation and business writing skills.
  • Native local speaker and proficient English knowledge of both spoken and written.
  • Driving license type B.
  • Strong customer orientation, effective and action driven communication (good communications skills).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Open, thinking out of the box and flexible agile attitude.
  • Proactive and independent, work under pressure and manage stressful situations.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functionally, provide and learn from feedback, be a great teammate.
  • Conduct business activities in compliance with ethics and legal requirements.
