Job Description

Under the general direction of the Director of Operations – Third Party Pay and in accordance with the core values and behaviors of the YMCA of the USA, the Manager, Third-Party Payors will collect, manage, track and report on all data for the successful implementation and management of the YMCA Enterprise Shared Services Third Party Pay practices, policies and procedures. The Manager, Third-Party Payors will also collaborate with multiple levels of leaders to lead, manage, track, report and advance contracts and strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in?Business, Communications, Health, or other related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or program management
  • Minimum of 3 years managing and leading health initiatives
  • Knowledge and understanding of the issues surrounding healthcare systems, payor contracts, and integration into YMCAs on a large scale
  • Knowledge and experience facilitating and leading dialogue and challenging conversations
  • Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Demonstrates and supports a culture of acceptance
  • Must possess strong organizational, verbal, written and facilitation skills
  • Must possess the ability to develop and cultivate a commitment “for all” when working relationships with team members, volunteers, community stakeholders and partners
  • Excellent attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft?Office and?ability to become proficient in Association-specific technology platforms and applications
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and projects at the same time
  • Proven ability to have initiative, good judgment and ability to make decisions independently
  • Proactive work style a must with constant implementation of innovation and creativity to improve systems and processes

Essential Functions

  • Lead the execution of existing contracts after implementation, for evaluation, effectiveness, and improvement opportunities
  • Champion, collaborate and support healthcare contract initiatives with YMCA Associations and Alliances, as needed
  • Develop liaison relationships with all constituents to create, implement, manage and enhance contract strategies, programs and processes within all centers and Association departments as per contract language
  • Collect, manage, track and report on all data acquired through contract priorities including data such as membership/program demographics, referral conversions, payment remittance, reporting, and leadership development
  • Organize and protect highly confidential employee, contract, and Association information
  • Maintain Salesforce pipeline for new and existing contracts to keep YUSA staff aware of current and upcoming collaborations throughout the Movement
  • Research contracting best practices, recommend strategies and solutions and work collectively to set benchmarks and improve measurements of Third Party Pay (TPP) impact
  • Support the communications plan aligned with each contract for maximum connection with each applicable location, while maintaining contract renewals
  • Retain current contracts by coordinating the logistics of TPP meetings, but not limited to, maintaining current point of contact rosters, scheduling meetings and managing correspondence with Y team members to help with customer service and experience with all platforms
  • Manage and provide a library of TPP related external and internal trainings, development documents and contracts in LINK
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners in the development and delivery of continued training and events for each contract
