Essential Functions
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants.
- Team Leadership:
- Guide the project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Delegate project tasks based on team members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
- Risk Management:
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Identify and manage potential crises and devise contingency plans.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered with high quality and meet client expectations.
- Oversee the quality control process throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Preferred Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in project management in the IT sector, specifically in outsourcing services.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
