Job Description
Schedule: Start time may be between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm Eastern time, depending upon sites supported.
Remote:Must have high speed internet at home.
Travel: Able to travel to New England Market Area sites, as needed; minimal travel.
Preferred Skills and Experience: Prefer a minimum of two (2) years of experience with customer service, administrative support and data entry; experience with business analytics is a plus. Proficiency with Opus, FastLane, MAS, OCSD, PMT (Performance Measurements Toolset), Kronos (reporting), Power BI (read reports), Resource Center, Teams; and ERL are a plus.
I. Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Data Specialist is responsible for gathering and inputting all daily data for the New England Market Area. This role is also responsible for ensuring all operational data is entered and/or keyed correctly and ready for review by the Operations Team by the end of each working day. Remote opportunity, providing support to multi-site operations. May be required to work at a New England Market Area site on occasion.
II. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Communicate daily with driver(s) on designated communication platforms regarding missing time clock entries.
- Validate all driver and helper information (including check-in/check-out), OPUS confirmations, and KRONOS information
- Validation of Next Day Optimization (NDO) data
- Assist with data collection and reporting required for incentive pay programs
- Landfill reconciliation, Area disposal reporting, update accounts in MAS with the appropriate information as needed
- Shared responsibility with Business Manager to maintain data and site records
- Will spend the majority of workday with reports, validating data in the Opus application; overseeing driver check-ins and route confirmations; may spend less than 10% of time on the phone

Normal setting for this job is: Office and Administrative Support.
The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S.is $24 – $32. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location
