Position Title: Supply Chain Manager
Location: Remote, USA with 25% Travel.
Position Overview
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning processes to ensure a cost-effective and efficient flow of goods. This role requires data-driven decision-making and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals and customer needs. The Supply Chain Manager also leads process improvement initiatives to enhance resilience and performance, ensuring that supply chain operations meet customer demands effectively.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day supply chain operations, ensuring smooth operations and meeting customer demand.
- Utilize data analysis to assess supply chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate weekly and monthly meetings with stakeholders to gain consensus on supply chain planning.
- Develop and implement a 12-month manufacturing plan in collaboration with supply planning teams.
- Work with Supply Chain and Operations teams to identify and resolve capacity constraints.
- Lead and facilitate Supply Review meetings to ensure alignment across teams.
- Develop and enforce governance, policies, processes, and tools to ensure consistent and accurate information in the SIOP process.
- Present data for Executive Reviews, driving effective business decision-making.
- Communicate clearly and effectively across various stakeholders, including suppliers, team members, and customers.
- Identify issues quickly and develop efficient solutions to enhance supply chain operations.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management or related roles within the chemical or manufacturing industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
- Experience with data analysis tools and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate cross-functional projects effectively.
Preferred Requirements
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CPSM, or similar).
- Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to drive process improvement initiatives and implement technology solutions.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $130,000 – $170,000.
