We are looking for a well-organized and self-motivated Executive Assistant to become part of the Amazon Business EA team. As an Executive Assistant you will have the opportunity to work in partnership with leaders and key business partners across multiple regions as a trusted partner and resource for the senior leadership team supporting a wide array of projects, strategic initiatives, and tactical mechanisms. We are seeking a driven, bright, and motivated individual with a history of high performance to support our organization. This individual will have a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with leaders (in and outside Amazon), and the ability to be flexible and change direction seamlessly all while having fun. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and want to take on varied and exciting new projects and learn new skills.

Key job responsibilities

  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements, across teams and time zones.
  • Coordinating air/hotel/ground transportation.
  • Complete and file expense reports; utilizing both domestic and international currencies.
  • Drive team activities (including staff meeting agendas and notes, org-wide meetings, social outings, supply ordering, and other key logistics).
  • Close collaboration with departmental EA peers.
  • Responsible for site space planning for business area
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Support annual operational planning process, business planning, performance review cycles
  • Serve as a business partner ensuring strategic, proactive and thoughtful support of the business cycle

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with executive level calendar management
  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience handling administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
  • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
  • Experience working in a global role with stakeholders from multiple regions
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion and decorum
  • Experience with work space planning/management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
