The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for Brand Manager – Prescription to join our ANZ Prescription Marketing Team team on a full-time 12 Month Fixed Term contract.

Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager – Prescription (Dermatology), the primary purpose of this position is to achieve designated sales and profit targets for product portfolio by executing of all elements of the marketing plan in full and on time.

Key Accountabilities Include

  • Sound level of product knowledge and understanding of brand attributes.
  • Ability to interpret market dynamics, drivers and distribution channels to anticipate market forecast/ trends; and an understanding of competitor strategy and activity.
  • An understanding of customer requirements, customer behaviours and segmentation.
  • Prioritisation and time management – ability to concurrently work on a number of projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility and insight required to work with multiple stakeholders, and take on tasks or projects across different brands or therapeutic areas
  • Clear and concise communications with internal and external key stakeholders such as cross functional team members, peers, suppliers, agencies, distribution centres and key account customers to follow up on promotions efforts and keep informed on needs of the sales force
  • Drive the execution of tactical programs to leverage critical success factors
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of promotion and advertising programs and continually evolve for improved performance
  • Measurement and analysis of KPIs and ROIs throughout and post the implementation period.
  • Loading and tracking of promotional material into approval system
  • Effective management of brand finances, budgets and forecasts, including appropriate management of brand resources.
  • Effective management of agency partnerships & explores new channel brand delivery strategies and pilots to maximise potential and ROI
  • Focus and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and agencies
  • Foster close relationships with the Sales Team to execute brand strategy
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop annual sales volume forecasts, expense budgets, forecast product requirements, identify potential supply issues and contingency plans
  • Lead the digital plan for the brand, ensure integration into the omnichannel customer experience to leverage all customer engagement opportunities.
  • Build relationships with patient advocacy groups and Therapeutic Area Medical organisations

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess Marketing experience in Pharmaceuticals, similar roles/industries will also be considered.

Other Key Requirements For This Role Include

  • Knowledge of marketing principles and the Australian prescription medicines industry (Essential)
  • Minimum of 3 years Pharmaceutical experience, sales, business planning & product management (Essential)
  • Tertiary degree in science, marketing or related business discipline (Essential)
  • Full conversant in Medicines Australia Code of Conduct (Essential)
  • Experience in GP or specialist marketing and sales (Desired)
  • Marketing Knowledge

  • Customer Focus (internal and external)
  • Communication Skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Medicines Australia knowledge and qualification desired
  • Experience in dermatology therapeutic areas is highly desirable
  • Experience in consumer marketing and knowledge of the TGAC highly desirable
