Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others and can take on leadership responsibilities within a team.
You will assist with leading and developing teams, working in a supported living/outreach settings and be dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities to live happy and fulfilled lives within their own home and out in the community.
A full UK manual driving licence is required for this role
Hours
39 hours per week.
You must be flexible and available to work weekends.
Location:
Working in our Outreach time you will work in services that are located in Crewe, Nantwich and Sandbach.
About You
Your professional and flexible nature will allow you to positively impact on those who you support and the rest of the team around you, allowing you to flourish and develop in this diverse and rewarding role.
A minimum of one years’ experience of working with people with disabilities in a supported living or outreach setting is essential, as is your commitment to providing high quality support.
Ideally you will have a knowledge and understanding of CQC legislation and the Care Act.
A relevant qualification in the field of Health and Social Care at Diploma Level 2 (or equivalent) is desirable or a willingness to work towards this
