Main Scope

The Director of Operations will oversee the commercial, financial, and operational performance of multiple locations across Central & South America, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and brand standards. This role requires a strong leader with full P&L responsibility, the ability to drive operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the regional market dynamics. The Director of Operations will work closely with local teams, senior leadership, and cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance and drive regional growth.

Financial Management: Oversee P&L, implement cost-control measures, and maximize profitability.

Talent Management: Lead workforce planning, recruitment, training, and performance development.

Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with quality standards, process optimization, and efficiency.

Commercial & Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to enhance brand visibility and revenue growth.

Guest Experience & Community Engagement: Ensure exceptional service and foster community engagement.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, including health, safety, and operational standards.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in a senior operational leadership role, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or multi-unit management industry.

Proven track record of managing P&L, driving operational excellence, and achieving financial targets across multiple locations.}

Strong understanding of the Central / South America markets, including cultural, economic, and regulatory nuances.

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team development and employee engagement.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Advanced understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Proficiency in using operational software systems and technology to drive efficiency.

Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
