This role will be part of a high-performing Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Culture (DEIC) team supporting DEIC initiatives, activations and planning. It will fall under the Inclusive Workforce team.
A Lot About You
The ideal candidate will be agile on the ground, adept at supporting our team from a logistics and admin perspective, and able to ideate diversity and inclusion solutions with partners across the business. A demonstrated impact in operational excellence is preferred, as is knowledge and interest in issues of global diversity and inclusivity, belonging , and cultural competence
Responsibilities
- Support the Inclusive Workforce team with administrative and operational coordination across all initiatives, with a focus on Employee Resource Groups and employee engagement
- Help organize tracking strategies to evaluate and grow impact of DEI initiatives; propose reports on effectiveness
- Support the Inclusive Workforce team across specific events and trainings and other related operational functions
- Contribute to a timeline of impactful programming specific to our speaker series and allyship offerings for internal groups and employees
- Create a resource guide to add to a repository of resources for employees
Required Experience
- Actively enrolled in Bachelor’s, Masters or PhD program and have a strong record of academic achievement
- Able to complete an 8-12 week internship starting in June 2025
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to use creative problem solving
- Passionate about equity and belonging and have demonstrated professional drive
Preferred
- NYC or LA based is a plus but not required

The compensation for this position ranges from $24-$52/hr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. Yahoo provides industry leading benefits for our interns including 401k plan, company holidays, and Summer Fridays. Eligibility requirements apply.
