Overview
NPH is growing the Clinical Intake Coordinator team to serve our patients and intake function across all markets for both day and night shifts. The Clinical Intake Coordinator will work on a remote team that will have a high impact on patient outcomes and success. We are hiring for day shift and night shift , 7a-7p and 7p-7a.

Available Shifts and Hours
Our schedule provides flexibility through 12-hour shifts in a remote setting. The Intake Coordinator will work 3 days per week (36 hours) with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours. The NPH Clinical Assessment team has openings for qualified RNs for nights and days in all 3 markets
Responsibilities
Clinical Intake Coordinator Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and evaluate potential patients through assigned referral system
- Establish consistent communication with admitting hospitals to ensure a best-in-class admission process for patients, families, and NPH team members.
- Works with Outreach Managers to assess the needs of patients in accordance with the Pre- Screening Evaluation Form and initiates
- Builds a positive relationship with our physicians, physician office staff, and hospitals to help market our facilities and their services.
- Educate discharge planners, physicians, and other appropriate referral sources for admissions into the facilities.
Qualifications
Clinical Intake Coordinator Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services, nursing or public health field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current and active LPN or RN license in state of residence preferred. Social work licensure in the state of residence preferred.
- CPR and CPI certification required and obtained during orientation, if applicable.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an acute psychiatric admissions department preferred.
- Experience in marketing, community relations, or discharge planning preferred.
- Familiarity with a referral system a plus; we use NaviHealth and Transferral
- High aptitude for muti-tasking and using technology in a fast pace environment
- Proven customer service and communication skills to handle questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner
