About The Role
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, HR Operations to lead and scale HR operations in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization. This critical leadership role will shape the foundation of HR systems, processes, and compliance, supporting the mission of accelerating innovation in defense, government, and critical infrastructure enterprises. This is an IC role that will act as a strong right-hand to the VP, People, and responsible for influencing and operationalizing the HR Operations strategy. Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
-Oversee HR systems, metrics, compensation programs, US benefits administration, and compliance.
-Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state HR regulations and best practices while supporting Corporate and Culture initiatives.
-Use data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous process improvement.
-Design and implement scalable HR programs to support organizational growth and evolving business needs.
Organizational Effectiveness & HR Analytics
- Build and maintain HR Dashboards to assess HR performance with metrics to improve organizational effectiveness and drive long-term HR initiatives.
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and streamline processes, leveraging AI and technology to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burdens.
- Drive policy and process adoption through change management initiatives across the organization related to HR operations.
- Provide guidance and change management support to the HR team as it relates to system optimization and process efficiencies.
Culture & Team Development
- Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and high accountable remote-first culture that aligns with the company’s mission to advance mission-critical work in Defense, Intelligence, Security and Critical Infrastructure organizations.
- Promote global workforce growth and development, supporting a talented team across diverse geographies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of progressive HR operations experience, with a proven track record of scaling HR functions in companies with 500–1,000 employees.
- Advanced proficiency with HRIS systems, HR technology platforms, and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment laws.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mission-driven organizations focused on defense, intelligence, security, or critical infrastructure.
- Ability to leverage AI and technology to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to execute in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Salary Range
$145,000 – $160,000 a year
