What You’ll Do
- Assist the North American People Business Partners in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the business’ overall strategy
- Provide support to People Business Partners in various HR-related functions and tasks such as talent acquisition, employee life cycle changes, onboarding and offboarding support, data audits, and status updates
- Work with People team members as needed to complete the People Business Partners’ requests. This may include, for example, submitting and monitoring requests, sending offboarding information, requesting and distributing reports, and following up with North American team members on People Team related topics.
- Create or modify presentations to support the People Business Partners
- Respond to questions from People team members, leaders and/or team members on behalf of People Business Partners
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Assist the employee relations team with performance management documentation, follow up, and record keeping
- Promote a positive and open work environment where team members feel comfortable voicing concerns and contributing new ideas
- Apply HR knowledge to make suggestions and offer solutions
What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
- 2+ years if Human Resources experience
- Working knowledge of several human resource disciplines, including HR operations, talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, employee relations, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Experience with one or more HRIS systems, experience with UKG/UltiPro a plus
- Successful track record of working and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment that is results oriented and collaborative
- Intermediate to advanced MS office skills, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and building dynamic and impactful presentation decks
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
