Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.
- Offer expert advice on products and services.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a courteous manner.
- Process transactions accurately, including cash handling of debts due
Sales
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Demonstrate and explain merchandise to customers to boost sales.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Participate in promotional activities and campaigns.
Store Maintenance
- Ensure the store is well-stocked.
- Assist in merchandising, display setup, and stock management.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to the management.
Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on the latest product features and benefits.
- Enhance product knowledge
- Share feedback from customers with the team to improve product offerings.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
- Provide support to new staff members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Minimum Requirements & Supporting Documentation
The position requires a school leaver certificate with Maths, preferably a tertiary qualification in a relevant field (sales, marketing, etc.), and 2-3 years of retail sales experience (FMCG preferred). Experience with SKYNAMO and SYSPRO is a plus, as is the ability to drive a scooter. Advanced Excel skills and a police character certificate are also required.
