Qiddiya Investment Company is on a mission to revolutionize the entertainment landscape in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize our operational strategies. This role is crucial in ensuring that operations across all departments function seamlessly and contribute to the overall objectives of Qiddiya.
The Senior Operations Manager will oversee various operational facets, including logistics, resource management, and process optimization, to drive efficiency and quality throughout the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and enhance operational capabilities.
Your expertise will be pivotal in analyzing operational performance, identifying areas for improvement, and leading initiatives to optimize workflows, ultimately enhancing the visitor experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Security and Resilience Team in achieving short-term and long-term objectives
- Contribute to the development of operational security solutions for Qiddiya
- Help create and implement security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Oversee daily security operations while on duty
- Support the Associate Director of Security Operations in auditing third-party security providers for compliance
- Escalate security issues to the Director of Security Operations or appropriate leadership
- Assume the Security Operations SILVER role as required
- Aid in managing incident response planning for security incidents, crises, and evacuations
- Ensure resources are available to meet critical security milestones
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate security risks
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for security operations
- Mentor and guide team members in security operations best practices
- Understand the responsibilities of your line manager and deputize when necessary
- Train subordinates to effectively deputize in your absence
- Provide additional support to the Associate Director of Security Operations as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- 9-12 relevant years of experience in operations management or a similar role, preferably in the entertainment, hospitality, or large-scale project environments
- Proven track record of implementing successful operational strategies that enhance efficiency and achieve targets
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and build positive working relationships
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively
