Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plan for Airside and Land side landscape development and subsequent maintenance.
- Identify the availability of plants and shrubs proposed. Verifications of sub-contractors’ invoices.
- Have world class and ecologically sound landscape and green belt development works executed through competent contractors on the basis of developed designs, seamless transition from Developmental to maintenance stage
- Have a good quality landscape developed complete with soft scape and hard scape elements, Automated Irrigation system through qualitative checks, monitoring works/reports as per the work schedule.
- Drive Green and sustainability initiatives for projects and reduction of carbon footprints.
- The ability to communicate well with Consultants, Contractors, colleagues, and rest of the stakeholders. Researching topics such as plants and their ability to survive in an area, guidelines, and codes.
- To ensure that all materials, their detailing, and specifications are fully in line with the requirement and perform value engineering where required. Performing site analyses that include the assessment of current plants, soil conditions, lighting, the view, and architecture style.
- Prepare and Maintain Weekly and Monthly reports. Prepare and Maintain Design Action List for each meeting. Prepare and Maintain Chronology reports with respect to revisions and allied changes.
- Supervise and ensure implementation of Horticulture and Landscape job through various sub-contractors in a proper planning on time bound.
- Planning and preparation of Green House if required in NITB.
Qualifications
Qualification: Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Landscape
Preferably M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Horticulture /Landscape
Experience: 8 to 12 total years of experience with at least 7 years of work experience in leading the landscape development/maintenance works in large Infrastructure projects like Airport/Hotel/Commercial buildings
