An opportunity has arisen for a senior supply chain executive to lead the transformation and modernization of logistics and distribution networks for a global consumer products organization with a significant footprint across the Asia-Pacific region.

This role comes at a critical time for the organization, which is undertaking a major global transformation to redesign its supply chain and distribution model, with Asia-Pacific positioned as the lead region for this change. The focus will be on building fit-for-purpose logistics and distribution networks that are capable of supporting the company’s diverse sales channels, including a rapidly growing e-commerce business.

About the Role

The Vice President, Supply Chain Operations, Asia Pacific will have full regional accountability for end-to-end logistics operations and strategy, with a clear mandate to design and implement future-ready solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience. This role will partner closely with global, regional, and in-country leadership, working within a complex matrix organization.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Regional warehousing and distribution center strategy and execution, including network design, development of new sites, and optimization of existing facilities.
• Freight network and carrier strategy design, including the establishment of robust and cost-effective partnerships across the region.
• Logistics solutions and process design, leveraging technology to drive automation, visibility, and efficiency across all aspects of distribution and transportation.
• Development and execution of multi-channel logistics models, with a specific focus on supporting e-commerce growth and last-mile delivery capabilities.
• Third-party logistics (3PL) partnership management, driving service performance and cost optimization across multiple markets.
• Engagement with senior global stakeholders, aligning regional logistics strategies with global business objectives while ensuring responsiveness to local market dynamics.

 
Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, candidates must bring extensive senior leadership experience in complex logistics and supply chain operations in Asia-Pacific.

The ideal candidate will offer:

• A minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in supply chain and logistics, including responsibility for regional or multi-country operations.
• Proven expertise in logistics network design, warehousing and distribution strategy, and freight and carrier management.
• A track record of leading supply chain transformation and optimization projects, including technology and systems implementation.
• Deep understanding of Asia-Pacific logistics markets, including regulatory environments, infrastructure, and service provider landscapes across Southeast Asia, North Asia, and Oceania.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers and outsourced operations in both corporate and external partner environments.
• Strong alignment with consumer-focused supply chains, preferably including direct-to-consumer and e-commerce distribution models.
• Experience operating in complex matrix organizations, demonstrating an ability to influence and collaborate across global and regional teams.
• An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.

 
Location and Remuneration

The position will be based in Singapore (preferable) or another major capital city in Asia-Pacific. A highly competitive executive remuneration package will be offered, reflective of the seniority and regional scope of the role.
