Job Summary:

We are seeking an Android Developer with 1-2 years of experience in Java and Kotlin, along with backend knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying sophisticated business solutions, handling requirements analysis, ensuring code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. A passion for troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and delivering zero-defect code is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy business solutions using Java and Kotlin.
• Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designs effectively.
• Ensure code quality and peer reviews.
• Handle root cause analysis for bugs and production issues.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work with third-party libraries and APIs to extend application functionality.
• Use version control systems like Git for code management.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and user guides.
• Implement and maintain security best practices in mobile application development.
• Collaborate with global teams and work in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD and test automation frameworks.
• Utilize Jetpack Compose to build modern, declarative UIs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Android development using Java and Kotlin.
• Advanced skills in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern UIs.
• Experience with Android testing frameworks such as Espresso, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Knowledge of Google Play Store policies and app submission processes.
• Experience with analytics tools like Firebase Analytics.
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, RESTful APIs).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
