What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Provide educational programs and support services to enhance deployment readiness for service members and their families
• Conduct outreach to at-risk groups, including first-term service members and socially isolated families
• Develop and distribute deployment materials and checklists to requesting commands
• Deliver training and workshops on various life skills and transition assistance topics
• Ensure accurate documentation of services delivered in the scheduling module

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related behavioral science field, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience providing advocacy services
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external resources
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local resources related to military families

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience working with family programs or military social service agencies
• Familiarity with the FFSMIS system
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Background as a military family member with a strong understanding of the military lifestyle
