What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Receive, screen, and schedule direct callers and walk-in customers for individual appointments and group programs
- Maintain current schedules for staff and rosters of upcoming group programs
- Manage daily scheduling and notify customers of unscheduled staff absences
- Enroll and schedule customers for briefs, workshops, classes, and individual appointments
- Participate in emergency response exercises and execute assigned responsibilities
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma/GED and two years of experience providing administrative support in a medical or social service office
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with office automation software
- Experience in providing scheduling services and customer service
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively
- General understanding and sensitivity towards diverse military families
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge of the FFSMIS system
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Experience with multi-line telephone systems and front office skills
