Roles And Responsibilities

  • Control of Short Term Maintenance
  • Monitor and control the Line Maintenance activity occurring during the shift, according to the maintenance plan.
  • Keep track of maintenance activities and defects in the MCC log and/or in the FTM System .
  • Revise task priorities for the Maintenance Provider(s) as daily operational circumstances change, in order to maximise

Aircraft availability, minimise cost and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Coordinate Defect Rectification
  • Monitor deferred defects and open MEL/CDL items, to ensure that the Maintenance Provider closes them within the

Mandatory period, else provide a mitigation plan. Advise on and monitor the appropriate application of MEL/CDL.

  • Monitor status of recurring defects and their rectification, providing feedback to the FTM Reliability group
  • Operational Communications
  • Keep the Operations Team in the Network Control Center (NCC) informed of arising defects and maintenance issues,

Advising their effect on the operation, aircraft limitations etc.

  • AOG Recovery Management
  • In the event of a defect affecting dispatch, coordinates with DAE/FDAE for advice to FM or Ground Line M ‘crews.
  • Devise and coordinate plans to recover from major AOG events, including technical troubleshooting activity, parts

logistics and manpower logistics. Provide realistic recovery time estimates to NCC.

  • Suggest or collaborate with MCP / NCC for recommendations for aircraft substitution in cases of foreseeable flight

disruption.

  • Assesses maintenance activities on line aircraft, coordinates with the maintenance provider and make

Recommendations if flight disruption is imminent.

  • Provides periodic report to MCC Manager / MCC DIRECTOR
  • To actively participate in CEB SMS by ensuring that highest reasonable level of safety performance is achieved by

complying with all applicable safety and security laws, regulations and standards and by reporting all accidents,incidents and hazards.

  • Elevate issues to his superiors as deemed necessary. 10. Perform other task as directed by his Superiors 11 To observe Company rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any aviation or engineering course
  • At least (15) years of Line Aircraft Mechanic Experience
  • Willing to work onsite in Pasay City.
