What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Handle inbound phone inquiries related to member benefits, eligibility, and claims for various healthcare plans
  • Resolve issues by researching documentation and collaborating with other departments
  • Engage with customers and document call specifics to build strong relationships
  • Collaborate with outside vendors to answer questions or resolve issues
  • Provide orientation to new members regarding their plans and administrative policies

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Must pass a background check
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Must be computer literate and capable of multitasking, including documenting calls
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in customer service within the healthcare industry
  • Familiarity with healthcare plans such as HMO, PPO, Medicare, and Medicaid
  • Ability to demonstrate quality program behaviors and team motivation
