Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment to help meet production goals
- Troubleshoot and diagnose network and technical programs
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC systems
- Effectively resolve production problems in a timely manner
- Diagnose cause of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Perform safety and operational tests
- Estimate or quote maintenance repair costs
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow processes
- Possess good organizational and time management skills to maximize benefits of position.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion
- 2- 5 years’ experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
- Flexibility of schedule to work alternate shifts
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with Buck Company safety policy.
- Ability to meet qualitative and/ or quantitative productivity requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all team members
