Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in event management and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will be tasked with supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events, from corporate meetings to larger public gatherings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and organization of events from inception to execution.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and vendor management.
- Support the marketing team in promoting events through social media and other channels.
- Prepare event materials, including invitations, agendas, and promotional items.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces before and after events.
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
