What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Provide educational and support programs for Navy service members and their families
• Conduct outreach efforts targeting at-risk groups, including socially isolated families and single parents
• Deliver training and workshops covering various topics related to deployment and family readiness
• Facilitate career decision-making and personal financial management for service members and families
• Ensure accurate documentation of services delivered in the scheduling module

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related behavioral science field, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience providing advocacy services
• Strong oral and written communication, assessment, and advocacy skills
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external resources effectively
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local resources relevant to military families

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience working with family programs or military social service agencies
• Familiarity with the FFSMIS system
• Background as a military family member with an understanding of the military lifestyle
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
