What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Provide educational and support programs to enhance deployment readiness for service members and their families
• Conduct outreach efforts targeting at-risk groups, including single parents and foreign-born spouses
• Deliver training and workshops on topics such as deployment support, financial management, and life skills education
• Facilitate career decision-making and assist families in transitioning to civilian life
• Ensure accurate documentation of services delivered in the scheduling module

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related behavioral science field, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience providing advocacy services and collaborating with resources
• Strong oral and written communication, assessment, and advocacy skills
• Experience working with family programs or military social service agencies
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Familiarity with the FFSMIS system
• Previous experience as a military family member, providing insight into the military lifestyle
