Job Description
Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician-owned and managed primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Estero, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Appointment Scheduler for our Pediatrics division in Fort Myers.
Sample of Duties
- Answer a high volume of calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Obtain proper information from patients when scheduling appointments such as demographics and insurance information
- Record information accurately into our patient management system
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Experience working in a high volume call center environment
- Availability to work weekends
- Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
- Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
- Proficiency in handling all calls in a professional and compassionate manner
- Knowledge of insurances, referrals, and eligibility a must
- One year of medical office experience or a combination of medical education and office experience preferred
