User Experience (UX) Designer

Years of Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience

Candidates must have an active Government Agency Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

Z FEDERAL is seeking User Experience (UX) Designer that have knowledge and experience working with engineers, testers and users to develop, modernize, and maintain various applications and systems. This position will support one of our Federal Government customers in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Develop low and high fidelity wireframes to present to engineers, testers and users.
• Collaborate with business analysts to define workflows and analyze UX for legacy applications and workflows.
• Present designs to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Work with engineers to refine designs based on data analysis and implementation constraints.
• Work with testers and business analysts to refine acceptance criteria and update designs as needed.
• Working independently and in a team environment, participating in existing agile process activities including planning meetings and regular standups

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, required
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience developing UX wireframes in Adobe Xd or Figma.
• Experience working with business analysts to define complex workflows and present alternatives to customers.
• Experience conducting user interviews and collecting data from customer observations.
• Experience working with UI developers using React to clarify and refine designs for development
