We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our growing and dynamic team. The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing our social media accounts, creating engaging content for the company’s social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive social media strategy to increase visibility and brand recognition
- Create and manage all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast)
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a Social way while cultivating leads
- Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns
- Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation
- Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed
- Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
- Develop and execute a regular publishing schedule
- Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)through collaboration with the marketing team
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy
- Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities
- Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target clients
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written)
- Conduct online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotions
- Develop and expand community outreach efforts
- Build detailed weekly reports for management showing results (ROI)
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Social media specialist(at least 3 years of experience)
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Knowledge of online marketing, web design, web development, CRO, SEO, and good understanding of major marketing channels
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
