What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Provide educational and support programs that enhance deployment and mission readiness for military families
  • Conduct outreach efforts targeting at-risk groups such as single parents and geographically separated families
  • Ensure deployment materials and services are provided to mobilized reservists and their families
  • Facilitate training and workshops covering various support topics for Command Family Readiness Groups
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to deliver educational and consultative services

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Master’s degree in adult education, social science, or a related field, or six years of equivalent experience
  • At least two years of experience managing multiple-site adult educational or social service programs
  • Strong presentation and training facilitation skills
  • Professional knowledge of social services and education delivery systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication, assessment, and advocacy skills

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience working with family programs, military or civilian social service agencies
  • Knowledge of the FFSMIS system
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
